Water is the source of all life. With your help, we've been able to provide clean water solutions to over 1.6 million beneficiaries in Idlib & Allepo.
Syrian Forum's Economic Empowerment Model exponentially increases efficiency and impact when it comes to relief and development services that assist vulnerable families. Here is how it works:
In traditional non-profit models, when Adam donates $1,000, the relief organization spends it on direct products for the beneficiaries, the amount is quickly depleted, and the need arises again.
In our Economic Empowerment Model (EEM), when Adam donates $1000, we use it to expertly help train, match and place the beneficiary in a suitable job that earns them up to $10,000 a year. With the recurring income they are able to procure their immediate needs, not just one week, or one month, but every week and every month for years to come.
Similarly, our EEM model means that we invest in education, training and support services for vocational and agricultural projects that help entire families achieve sustained economic independence.
Another example of how our EEM model works is investing Adam's $1000 in procuring a $100,000 grant that is then dispersed to fund beneficiary services.
Because of this creative multiplier model, we have been able to generate a large amount of services and benefits with your donations.

Iman, 25 Years Old
Iman is a 25-year-old young mother of two living in the countryside of Aleppo, Syria who tragically lost her husband to the conflict. She once worked as a primary school teacher but had to stop because her school was destroyed by an airstrike.
Not letting her personal tragedies stand in the way of supporting her family and pursuing her ambitions, Iman enrolled in Creative Education courses through Bousla. Throughout two courses, she learned new methods of education and studied the basics of psychosocial support to help her enhance her abilities to counsel children who grew up in conditions of war and bombing.

“I was able to finally find myself after years of feeling broken before and during the years of the war.”
Abdel Wahab Bakour, 26 Years Old
17-year-old Abdel Wahab Bakour’s life was all but decimated when a bombing raid destroyed his home and city in a matter of seconds. But his spirit remained intact.
“Despite all this, I decided to stand on my feet again and pursue a career in this life so that I can secure my future and be a positive element in this community; that was my most important ambition,” Abdel Wahab told us about this time.
Following his ambition, Bakour enrolled in computer science and English language courses at our Youth Support Center. Beyond providing him with valuable career skills, he received psychological counseling to help him cope with his traumatic past.
“I was able to finally find myself after years of feeling broken before and during the years of the war,” he told us. The Youth Support Center has had a significant impact on his life and has helped give young people like Abdel Wahab hope.
Today, Bakour has a stable job and is able to care for his extended family. It is through your generous support that success stories like his are able to happen.
Thanks to your support, Hassan received an agricultural voucher distributed by Syrian Forum’s relief and development program that enabled him to grow his garden and provide for his family.
Hassan Jabri, 35 years old
In the western countryside of the Aleppo province, 35-year-old Hassan Jabri lives with his wife, five children and his 70-year-old mother with special needs. Hassan once worked as a day laborer before the conflict in Syria began. Even then, he struggled to care for his family and mother.
Looking for a new way to help support his family, Hassan received an agricultural voucher distributed by Syrian Forum’s relief and development program. This enabled him to purchase seeds and the basic tools needed to grow a home garden. In addition to this, Hassan was able to secure the fuel needed to run a generator to power the irrigation system in the absence of electricity in the region.
Thanks to your support, Hassan has managed to grow his garden and take care of the needs of his family. It is through programs like this, backed by Syrian Forum, that many Syrians are able to rebuild their lives and move towards a brighter future.
